BBN (Bath, Brush, and Nails) – The most basic service and the first step in grooms and trims. Long haired dogs are brushed and dematting, if needed, first. After a quick warm water rinse, we use our deodorizing shampoo to remove any “dog” smells and to help keep them away. After another quick rinse we use our conditioner to help give the coat a shine and a soft touch. We remove all soap in the final rinse and begin with the drying. We use a non-heated force dryer to blow not only water but also loose hair free from the coat. We wipe down the ears with a quick evaporating ear cleaner. And finally trim all nails as best as we can.
Full Body Shave – Typically done in 2 lengths, Winter and Summer. Leaving the hair about 1/2 inch or shorter. The body and legs will be shaved with the head, ears, tail and feet to be decided by the customer. We can shave it all one length, give them a broom tail, or just trim around the eyes we aim to satisfy our customer and make the dogs happy. We do offer other longer and shorter body shave lengths as a type of groom.
Sani Cut – A quick trim around the face, feet, and butt. The eyes, ears, and snout are all trimmed to help keep them clean. The pads are shaved, and the feet are trimmed. Butts and privates are trimmed to prevent any matting.
Nail Grinding – After using nail trimmers a Dremel is used to grind this nail back. This not only helps get the nails shorter but also gives them a “smoother” feel.
